Malas prácticas para promocionar un directorio

Aunque los promocione (que no linke) lo voy a contar: El otro día recibo un email del directorio HotVsNot.com que dice lo siguiente:

Pues bien, a no ser que algún alma caritativa esté ayudándome con una de las webs a las que llevo el posicionamiento (que por privacidad he quitado su nombre del correo) y que en el momento del alta también haya metido mi email no encuentro otra explicación a que me haya llegado este correo. Bueno sí, encuentro otra: Que se crean más listos que nadie y envíen este tipo de correos solo para incitar a darse de alta a los que, en realidad, no lo están. Entre otras cosas sospecho que es así porque en la fecha que dicen la web en cuestión SIMPLEMENTE NO EXISTÍA (que fallo, Pepe).

Por mi parte ya sé un directorio al que nunca enviaré nada. Por listos.
